Crime Log October 24 to October 30, 2023
Robbery
23062864: On 10/29/23 at approximately 8:18 PM, Somerville Police responded to a business on Broadway for report of a robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the clerk who stated a male party entered the store and asked her how much cigarettes were. When she turned around, the male ran around the counter then brandished a small handgun and forced her to open the register. He took approximately $2300 USD and fled westbound on Broadway.
Crime Report 10/29/2023
On Sunday, 10/29/23 around 14:08 hours, Somerville officers responded to Draw Seven Park in Assembly Row for a report of an altercation where the operator of a gray Mazda 6 flashed a firearm. Somerville officers located a parked vehicle matching the descriptions provided by the RP. It was occupied by the operator, who also matched the provided description, and a passenger. Given the park is Massachusetts State Police jurisdiction, MSP took control of the scene. Inside the vehicle, they recovered two firearms, a large quantity of marijuana and small bags of a white powdery substance. The two adult occupants, Khennith Ezra Bastien and Makai Vicente both of Charlestown were arrested by the MSP.
On Sunday, 10/29/23 at 00:45 hours, SPD received a report of shots fired in the area of 299 Broadway. Somerville Officers and State Police canvassed the area extensively and were unable to locate ballistic evidence. Crime Log October 17 to October 23, 2023
Assault
23060381: On 10/18/23 at approximately 10:35 PM, Somerville Housing officers responded to 25 Memorial Rd for report of threats with a handgun. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated while driving down Memorial Rd, he collided with a dark grey vehicle occupied by four teenage black males. When the victim exited his vehicle to take a picture, one of the male passengers in the other vehicle displayed a handgun and told him not to call police.
Crime Log October 10 to October 16, 2023
Assault
23058349: On 10/4/23 at approximately 6:40 PM, Somerville Police responded to 355 Broadway for report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he was picking up food and was approached by an unknown male who yelled at him and threatened to come back with a gun. Shortly after, the male came back with another male party and they started attacking the victim with a metal pole.

Commercial Breaking & Entering
23057501: On 10/7/23 at approximately 2:55 AM, Somerville Police responded to a business in Assembly Row for a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the manager who stated the front window was smashed with a chair and the cash register was found on the ground inside. Approximately $2,000 USD was reported stolen.
