Crime Log July 25 to July 31, 2023

Assault

23042137: On 7/26/23 at approximately 3:14 PM, Somerville Police responded to Washington St after a male party reported that three males in a vehicle parked across the street were waiting to hurt him. Upon arrival, officers observed a white sedan flee the area after two males entered it. Officers spoke with the victim who stated three males pulled up in the vehicle and one of them displayed a firearm that was in his waistband. The victim then fled the area.

Assault

23041910: On 7/25/23, Somerville Police took a report from a male party who stated on 7/21/23, his boss pointed a firearm at his head. The victim stated he works for an electrical company. He then stated that he made a mistake at work and his boss pulled out a handgun and held it against his head. Officers identified the suspect.

23041847: On 7/25/23 at approximately 6:26 AM, Somerville Police responded to 270 Washington St for report of a fight. Upon arrival, officers observed two females yelling. Officers spoke with one of the females who stated she was attacked by the other. Officers identified the female suspect.

23042227: On 7/27/23 at approximately 1:06 AM, Somerville Police responded to 402 McGrath Hwy for report of a fight. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female party who stated she was followed home by her coworker and attacked. The victim suffered injuries to her face.

Residential Breaking & Entering

23042397: On 7/27/23 at approximately 6:39 PM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Pearl St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated her bike was stolen from the basement.

23042119: On 7/26/23 at approximately 1:44 PM, Somerville Police took a report from a female party who stated she was reviewing her home surveillance cameras and observed two males open her door. One of the males entered the apartment while the other one waited outside. Nothing was reported missing.

Residential Breaking & Entering

23041866: On 7/25/23 at approximately 8:16 AM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Dartmouth St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he observed all the doors to the first-floor apartment unlocked and noticed multiple items missing from the mud room. A sim card to his camera was also stolen.
