Somerville Police Respond to Assault

21030582: On 6/17/21 at approximately 1:00 PM, Somerville Police responded to the area of Mystic Ave & Butler Dr for a past assault. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the juvenile female victim who stated earlier in the day in the area of 2 Meacham St, she was attacked by three other juvenile females. Officers were able to identify the juvenile female suspects.

Somerville Police Respond to Assault

21030341: On 6/16/21 at approximately 10:00 AM, Somerville Police responded to a multifamily residence on Vinal St for report of an assault. Upon arrival, Officers met with the victim who stated that while he was working in the backyard, a male came up behind him and assaulted him with a hammer and his fist. A struggle then ensued between the victim and the male suspect until a co-worker of the victim intervened and broke up the struggle. The male suspect fled the area in a black Cadillac. Investigation is ongoing.
