Welcome Officer Jamey Thompson
The Somerville Police Department is proud to introduce Officer Jamey Thompson. Officer Thompson graduated the Lowell Police Academy on October 29th and is now starting his career as a sworn Somerville Police Officer. He has lived in Somerville for the past 12 years and previously worked for the Somerville YMCA. While at the Police Academy, Officer Thompson was awarded the “Outstanding Student Officer Award” which is given to the top student officer for both physical and academic achievements.
