    Assault

    23004224: On 1/24/23 at approximately 11:47 PM, Somerville Police responded to Grand Union Blvd for a panic alarm coming from a Lyft driver. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he picked up a female party at Grand Union Blvd and when she entered his car, she began kicking the back of his seat and grabbing at him. The suspect left prior to police arrival.

    Arrest

    23002817: On 1/17/23 at approximately 12:17 PM, Somerville Police responded to a business on Mystic Ave for report of a larceny. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the manager who stated a male party stole numerous items from the store then brandished a knife and swung it at him. Officers observed the male fleeing toward the Assembly train station and ordered him to stop. A knife was recovered from his pocket and he was placed into custody.

    23001473: On 1/9/23 at approximately 7:47 PM, a female party entered the station and reported that she was victim of an assault on the morning of 1/8/23. The victim stated she left Encore Casino and was followed by another vehicle. When the victim stopped at a light, a male and female exited the other vehicle and the female party threw her onto the ground and kicked her. As the victim tried to get up, the male party pushed her back to the ground. The female party then vandalized the victim’s vehicle.

Officers were informed a male party was inside the business but fled prior to police arrival. Officers observed the door to the business was  forced open. Nothing was reported missing.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated the gate was forced open and several batteries and wrenches were stolen.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated when he arrived to work; he observed the rear door of the business had been forced open. The owner reported cash and a gun were stolen.

    Armed Robbery

    22066000: On 11/18/22 at approximately 5:32 PM, officers took a report from a victim who stated he was involved in a road rage incident on Route 93. The victim described the suspect as a heavyset female. Both the victim and suspect then pulled into the parking lot of 145 Middlesex Ave where they confronted each other. The suspect then pulled out a metal bar from her trunk and began tapping it at the victim’s feet. She then grabbed the victim’s wallet and fled in her vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the owner who stated the rear door had been forced open and the store was rummaged through. Jewelry and cash were stolen.
